Reunited and It Feels So Good…

To the Brains I Miss Teaching,

Remember, we’re finishing up oral presentations from the Visual Rhetorical Analysis Unit. Be there. Per ISUComm policy, missing a scheduled oral presentation is problematic, cannot be made up, and the student will receive a failing grade for that assignment. On the other hand, if you’ve already presented, remember that your presence is needed to give FeedForward to your peers. So once more, be there.
On Thursday, we’ll be jumping into the Mediation Unit. This one is challenging, but I think most students find it very meaningful. I see some good ideas forming in the reflection homework you worked on. Keep thinking about which issue you’d like to mediate and which ones would be good to mediate as a class. We’ll vote on Tuesday; mediate Thursday.
Plus, it’s looking like we might have a surprise guest speaker on Tuesday. Stay tuned.

It’s hard to believe it’s been two weeks, but I’m looking forward to seeing each of you Tuesday. Until then, have a relaxing Sunday night.

Ms. H
